Established in 1978, AcroTek was an early pioneer in the energy management, information technology, manufacturing productivity and robotics. In 1986, emphasis switched to networks and relational databases. In 1994, the emphasis expanded to the Internet and private, real-time response, Intranets for industrial companies and governmental agencies. Then in 1998, AcroTek advanced into fiber optics with embedded processing and element management systems. In 2000, emphais trasfered to Interactive Simulation Systems, and work in the Aerospace and Petrochemical industries.
