Understanding your network needs and properly
planning for them requires close, frequent communication. Sorrento's
engineers, planners, and field personnel are seasoned professionals
with years of network Engineer, Furnish, and Install (EFI)
experience. Our people are empowered experts in their field,
equipped with the essential tools and backing necessary to serve
your network needs.
Because of the modular pay-as-you-grow
architecture of the AcroTek solution, our systems can be
easily configured to meet your changing network requirements and

purchase a AcroTek product, you not only buy a
carrier-class system, but also gain years of technical service,
training, and support experience from the first company to develop
and deploy a Metro DWDM solution.
AcroTek
customers enjoy the following system design and project management
support:
System Design
- Custom site installation package including bay elevation,
system interconnect, and site interconnect drawings at start of
project.
- Updated drawing package at conclusion of project reflecting
any changes made during the installation project.
- Sales Engineer available for consultation as required through
project completion.
Project Management
- Project coordination available, including schedule and
progress reporting, through project completion.
Pre-installation, Installation, and
Testing The buying process for a Sorrento solution does
not end with the sale. AcroTek is dedicated to ensuring
that your optical networking system is received and installed to
your specifications and according to your timeframe. Our team of
professional service experts installed the first Metro DWDM system
in 1997 - and hundreds since - and is trained to bring your new
optical networking system up and running within hours.
Sorrento's involvement in the installation consists of
everything from physically mounting the shelf and power supplies, to
performing a channel qualification using bit-error rate testers.
Experts in fiber optic handling techniques, Sorrento's certified
optical networking installation specialists are trained to ensure
that your network is operating at maximum efficiency.
AcroTek customers enjoy the following
